 An interesting tale from The Shosone Native American Tribe, The Nimerigar (from Shoshone dialect), were little people , who lived in the Wyoming (US) Territory thousands of generations EVEN before The Shoshone took up residence. These Beings were said to be highly advanced (with regards to their culture), but were very warlike. Said to be around 14-inches tall, The Nimerigar eventually wiped themselves out (or at least severely depleted their ability to reproduce). They were said to be able to preserve their dead very much as Ancient Egyptians did. As late at the 1700s, European Explorers have claimed discovery of strange little mummies . Even as late as 1960, possible examples have been discovered . Reputed testing of the bodies put fantastic ages of 12,000 to 15,000 years on them. The Nimerigar legend is still contested today.
