From Nemea, Ancient Greece – The ''Nemean Lion'' was a Mythological creature, said to be two times the size of an African Lion. It's fur and skin was said to have been impervious to any harm from any weapon. The Lion's claws were so sharp, that they could cleave any type of metal with ease. The Beast was the offspring of another Mythical beast (Orthus) – who was a Guardian of The Gods Sheep and Cattle Herds. The Nemean Lion terrorized the Residents of Nemea, until Hercules (a Demi God) killed it as part of His ''12 Labors'', by strangling The Beast with His arms.
