Mogwai

In deference to the lovable creature made famous by the American film Gremlins , Mogwai are Chinese spirits. They are humanoid creatures who wear clothes without hems. Mogwai cast no shadows as they walk. Humans cannot see Mogwai's (as they only appear as a puff of smoke). They are seen as the spirits of the dead who are suffering, and as such can cause misery to the living if haunted by one. Rain (in the Monsoon season), causes them to reproduce (well that part of the Movie was right!)
