Merrow

A form of Mermaid/Merman, The Merrow are indicative of Irish waters. Known to live off the Western and Southern coasts of Ireland, The Merrow are attracted to human men. Much as the Ancient Greek Siren, The Merrow have a melodic song they song, to attract a potential mate. They appear as "beautiful and appeasing" at first. However under the Sea, their true form can be seen. They are actually a hybrid half-Fish, half-Human creature, normally green in color. It was said it wise to avoid the coast after a storm, and if one had to travel there, to keep one's ears covered. The Merrow are particularly strong and melodic AFTER a storm.
