In ancient Hinduism, ''Manu'' is identified in Mythology as ''The First Man''. Rather, as Texts state – Manu was the ''first'' to survive The Great Deluge, which enveloped The Earth and removed all Life – save Manu. In detail, Manu (a member of the mythic Veda Race), took others of His Class aboard a specially crafted boat. After many months of drifting, Manu found land and with His charges – re-founded The Veda Nation (and others). Each ''survivor'' had a particular ''gift'' that He taught to His generations. These were Medicine, Language, Religion etc.
