In Filipino Culture, The Mananambal is a type Folk Magic Healer, who combines ''ancient'' remedies and ''accepted'' medical cures to heal a Person from illness (both ''perceived'' and actual). Typically occupied by Females, The Manananbal used both in the scope of their vocation, and are mostly seen as ''positive'' in The Filipino Culture. And while their rituals and ceremonies would be seen as ''White'' or Good Magic by most, ''Dark'' Mananambals are said to exist as well. So accepted in fact, that currently – The Filipino Government ''recognizes'' their ''craft'' as valid. However, various Christian Religious Beliefs still denounce them as heretical.
