The ''final'' Causeway to The Eighth Circle of Hell (leading to The Ninth) – ''Malebolge'' is a maddening Maze, in which Lost and Damned Souls wander. Some state that Malebolge is lined with sharp objects (metal, glass, etc.) - all calculated to force those trapped to cut themselves (as the Walls to The Tunnel shorten). Further, some say that The Walls are made of Salt. This would cause even more pain and suffering. Malebolge was yet another ''missive'' from the twisted mind of Dante, in His ''Inferno'' Tale.
