Lamen

A ''Lamen'' is a form of Breastplate (and sometimes Amulet) created and worn by Practitioners of Esoteric Magic. Based upon The Hebrew Religious Urim and Thummim, The Lamen is made from hammered (pressed) copper or brass. Often, ''magical sigils'' (symbols) are carved into it – and used as ''Spells of Protection'' by it's Wearer. Worn (attached by straps or chain) on The Chest, one of the first examples cited was found in the infamous ''Key of Solomon'' from Antiquity.
