La Muelona

In Colombia, South America – locals have a Legend dealing with an Evil Spirit known as ''La Muelona''. Her ''origin story' may have started with The Spanish Colonization of The Region. It was said that some ''enterprising women'' would seek out wealthy men for the purposes of stealing their fortunes or causing ruin. This was done thru marriage or having an affair with a married man. One in particular, was very skilled at this and destroyed many Men. Her skill with a ''honey dripped mouth'' (or skill with manipulating words), was Her undoing. So cursed by Her last victim, at Her death – Her Spirit was doomed to be ''earthbound'' forever. ''It'' was forced to inhabit a Horse (for a time). When released, it's Human form retained the image of a 'beautiful woman with long black hair''. But La Mulelona has a very ''large mouth, with hundreds of large teeth''' (horse-like?). She wanders the night still luring wealthy men into Her arms. Once done, Her ''mouth'' widens so that She will ''consume'' them.
