While many cite that ''Kussie'' is a clever ''reinvention'' of Scotland's Loch Ness Monster (aka ''Nessie''), to local Residents of Lake Kussharo (on The Island of Hokkaido, Japan) will swear it is real. While one one can produce a photograph, most state that Kussie bears a striking resemblance to Her more ''famous Cousin''. The first sightings of Kussie go back to the 1950s, which spread fairly quickly throughout Japan. Said to be roughly 150-feet long, Kussie too, bears a similar appearance to the long extinct species of Dino, The Plesiosaur.
