Buddhist Mythos assigns the term ''Kumbhanda'' to s Class of ''Spirits'' , whose stomachs (abdomens) are shaped as a ''round Gourd''. Misshapen and ugly, The Kumbhanda were ''Lower Entities'' which were often coveted by Kings and Emperors. The Beings had ''great power'' to effect ''change'' or to ''enforce'' the ''will of Their Master'' – very quickly, normally thru a series of circumstances. Some later versions state that Officers of Royal Armies, who were greedy in Life, will ''reincarnate'' as a Kumbhanda.
