Kobalos

 In Greek mythology, The Kobalos were mischievous little creatures (described as elf and dwarf-like). The had no fur and strange little eyes. They had overly long arms and strangely shaped hands. The main goal of The Kobalos was to scare children into behaving. This was similar to the parent trick to behave or The Kobalos will get you! The Kobalos is in the same Monster Family as the English Puck, or French Goblin. It is thought that The Sprite and some Fairy creatures are distant cousins to The Kobalos.
