A legend in Nepal, The Kichkandi is a Evil Spirit of Female persuasion. They are ''created'' from the improperly cremated remains of a Person (normally a fragment of bone. This allows The Spirit to manifest itself. The Kichkandi is ''seen'' (in it's true form), as a pale and thin Female with long black hair (often obscuring the face). Clothing, like wise is seen as a ''long white dress or robe''. The most evident way to spot The Kichkandi is their feet. They are ''turned backwards''. Giving the impression of being ''malnourished'', they must ''feed'' of the ''life force'' of their intended victims. In this, Kichkandi are often classed in The Vampire genre. The Kichkandi (naturally being Female) ''hunt'' Men (normally those wishing to be unfaithful to wives or girlfriends). They appear to their victims as quite normal but unusually ''beautiful women''. They lure the Man to some dark and secluded spot with music (which cannot be resisted). After draining their victim to a point of death, they disappear. Their victim now bears a striking resemblance to The Kichlandi - pale, thin and gaunt. They will remain as such until they die, as a visual ''warning'' to all unfaithful Men.
