Jumbee

 The strange stories and legends of The Jumbee originate in many Caribbean island Countries. They are often different in direction, but all bear one underlying tone. Jumbee's are dead, non-corporeal spirits. They have no specific form. They often inhabit a recently deceased body for up to 3 days. They do not cause life in these deceased. The marker that a Jumbee is in a body, is the lack of decomposition. Only through special dances and fruit sacrifices will The Jumbee leave. When not moving in to bodies, Jumbees live out in the woods and jungles. How one becomes a Jumbee has never quite been explained.
