 The Jikininki are Japanese Evil Spirits , who take on human-like appearance. They are normally seen as Ghostly Pale people with Reddish eyes . In life, they were greedy people (obsessed with wealth and unconcerned with other humans or their sufferings). Ala Ebenezer Scrooge , The Jikininki are cursed to return to Earth. UNLIKE Charles Dicken's character however, they must consume the flesh of the living! During the day, Jikininki cannot be recognized.
