The ''creation of Algernon Blackwood (a contemporary of HP Lovecraft) – ''Ithaqua'' was a giant corpse-like Being that only lived in the very coldest Regions. Appearing in many of Blackwood's and Lovecraft Short Stories, Ithaqua was often used as a ''Soldier Demon'' against Humans. His razor sharp claws and foul odor were His ''calling cards''. The Being was said to have been based on The Native American Mythos of The ''Wendingo'' Demon.
