Ika Roa

New Zealand's Maori Tribe have a Creation Myth which involves The Deity known as ''Ika-Roa''. This Being is described as a ''Giant Fish'' which lives in The Cosmos. Ika-Roa gave birth to The Milky Way (to include The Stars and Planets) – via it's Roe (eggs), laid. Sometimes known as ''The Long Fish'', Ika-Roa is still revered among Traditionalist Maori.
