The use of ''Holy Water'' is a tradition for many Religions for many Centuries. Seen as a method of purification, common water is prepared for religious use by a series of formal prayers and rituals. Once done, the water is normally stored in separate containers and used for only special ceremonies. These can be Baptism, Confirmation as well as Exorcisms. Holy Water is also used as a form of blessing, performed by either a Clergy or Lay Person. In Ancient Judea, water was made Holy via prayers for the purposes of ritual body purification prior to Sabbath and other Ceremonies. Water sources (locations) are also seen by some Religions as being important. Water gathered from various significant rivers and lakes are also used. These locations are often associated with religious figures or a particular occurrence (miracle). In addition, once so ''blessed'' – Holy Water cannot be disposed of simply by pouring it out thru plumbing. Often, only pouring into The Earth is seen as acceptable. In terms of religious ceremonies such as Exorcism, Holy Water is used as a weapon against Evil. The mere exposure to such, causes discomfort and pain.
