Seen as The Great ''Creator God'' of The Haitian Voodu Religion, ''Grand Maitre'' is responsible for all Life and Death and is the primary Loa over all others. He cannot be invoked into general possession of a Human, as His power is far too great for just ''one such vessel''. The most common Christian comparison would be that of ''Jehovah''. His personification in Art is that of an Old Man of great wisdom. He sits inside a Great Tree of Life. This Tree is constructed from the many Souls of Creation that Grand Maitre is responsible for.
