''Gram'', The Sword of Sigurd

The Legendary Norse Sword used by Sigurd to kill the Dragon, Fafnir. Supposedly made by Odin (King of The Norse Gods), - Odin stuck ''Gram'' into a high Barnsokkr Tree. Only a ''True Warrior and King'' could retrieve it. The story and the Sword was made popular by 19th Century Composer Richard Wagner. The Legend of the Sword is much older, going back to the 4th/5th Centuries.
