Fachen

 From Ireland and Scotland, comes The Fachen. Sometimes known as Peg Leg Jack, the beast has only half a body! The lower part of the creature is in reality, one giant leg and foot (with which it can propel itself quite well  and fast!). Some versions of The Fachen give it no arms or hands (other just a single arm with 2 hands). They have only 1 great eye with which to see. They are also described as having great black feathers (which they can ruffle up to make themselves appear EVEN more frightening). They are said to cause an instant heart attack  if seen (which they seldom are!)
