From Western Africa's Yoruba Tribe, The Emere are said to be Supernatural Beings that ''live'' in certain Human Children. They ''give'' these selected Children the power of ''Future Sight'' and the ability to bring extreme good luck to their Family. They are noted for their extremely handsome (Boy) or Beautiful (Girl) looks. However, the ''birth'' of a Male Emere IS rare. The Emere are said to have the ability to traverse the plain between Life and Death. As such they are very useful in giving and taking ''messages'' to an from deceased loved ones. Many become Shaman with The Yoruba Tribe. Of strange note, Emere will only ''die'' when a period of ''extreme'' joy occurs to their Family (such as an important birth, etc.) In most cases, the ''Human'' side remains while the Emere ''passes''.
