Donbettyr

Another of The Ossetian Mythos Deities, ''Donbettyr'' was The Deity (God) associated with all of Earth's Water. Akin to Greece's ''Poseidon'', His very name ''Don'' is relative to the Russian term for ''Water'' (source). It is even associated with the name ''Peter'', which would be merged into the later Christian Belief of ''Saint Peter''. Given The Sea to ''command'' by Xucau (Chief God), Donbettyr was also tasked with protecting all Life in all Waters. He too, was personified as being ''without form''.
