Dante's Inferno - 6th Circle of Hell - Heresy

''Heresy'' is punished in The 6th Circle of Hell. In this Realm lies the Souls of those who either refused to believe in God or hindered His Works on Earth. Blasphemers and related irreligious are also punished here. In most cases, they did this full knowing of their transgressions. Their punishment are to be secured inside of Tombs and set on fire by Demons. As they burn, well aware of their searing pain – they have no one to turn to to relieve such suffering (neither Lucifer or God will hear them). So they will suffer for all Eternity.
