Crom Cruach

A ''Deity'' found of ancient Irish ''mention'' – Crom Cruach was a paganistic Being – said to be ''older than The World''. A ''Demonic Entity'' of true ''unknown origin'' – the ''Lovecraftian'' Beast was identified by the placing of dead Warriors from a battle into stands or sheafs (much as harvested Wheat). This was seen as a form of sacrifice and appeasement to this powerful God. With Christian development in Ireland (and also adding to the Legend of St. Patrick), Crom Cruach was banished to Eternity by that Evangelist.
