''Carnwennan'', The Dagger of King Arthur

King Arthur's famed sword Excalibur would not be complete without a Sidearm. Arthur's was Carnwennan. His Knightly Dagger, it had the power to render him invisible or "shadowed". Arthur was said to have used it to slice in half the Witch Orddu. Some Legends have Carnwennan as a ''gift from God'' (just how this transaction took place is unknown). Arthur's Dagger legend does not appear in "Le Morte d'Arthur" but in Geoffrey of Monmouth's 10th Century novels. Carnwennan's final disposition if unknown.
