Often, the mental condition which would become known as Insanity (or related Mental Disorders) were ''blamed'' on possession by a Cacodemon. Their exact creations are somewhat obscured as most Ancient Greek Gods were associated with Nature and The Elements. Cacodemons were also used as Antagonists in Medieval Literature.
