Boline Knife

A Boline is a form of knife/cutting tool – used by Wiccans (Earth Magic). The oddly shaped blade, which resembles a crescent with a wooden handle, is never to be used for any form of ''blood'' sacrifice (animal). It's primary purpose (once consecrated by a Wiccan Priest or Priestess), is for the cutting of ritual herbs or rope (hemp). The Boline is also used to carve candles used in various ceremonies. Made of iron (or steel), the blade is double sided and most often given a white wood (oak or pine) handle.
