From HP Lovecraft's Short Story called ''The Doom That Came To Sarnath'' (written in 1920) – Bokrug was an Ancient God-Demon from the inter-dimensional Kingdom of Thuum'ha. An ''amphibian-snake'' Being, Bokrug awoke yearly to torment Humankind. After a climatic battle with another ''dimensional Deity'', Bokrug was consigned to ''sleep'', where He has so remained.
