Bokors are also adept in concocting poisons and elixirs. These are always sold for monies. However, in this ‘’skill’’ (perhaps) their ‘’zombification’’ abilities are from. A popular chemical used ‘’Tetrodotoxin’’ is harvested from the extremely deadly Puffer Fish. In small does, it can render someone completely ‘’docile and subservient’’. Perhaps this is the true ‘’creative’’ qualities of a Bokor – the ability to control persons thru chemicals and not so much a ‘’supernatural power’’.
