Bean Nighe

 From Scotland, is an Ancient story of The Bean Nighe. This creature is seen to be a normal Washerwoman (but is actually The Messenger of Death). She is always seen by a river or lake washing what appears to be bloody clothes . The clothes belong to the next person she has come to collect for Death. It is said that The Bean Nighe are the spirits of women who died in childbirth. They have long gray hair, a single tooth and often only one nostril! Some versions of the story have The Bean Nighe only wearing the color Green. IF you answer 3 of Her questions she will tell you the name of the next 3 people destined to die.
