An Ancient Chinese ''God'' – who started out as a ''Human'' – Wu Ben was a 9th Century AD Physician who was known for performing ''Miracles''. In reality, and despite the many ''Legends'' surrounding His Medical Skills, it is assumed that He was more of a skilled Doctor who used unconventional remedies to cure illnesses that commonly affected (and often killed), the average Person. As such, His skill would have Him as Imperial Physician in The Song Dynasty. So skilled in fact, that The Emperor deified Wu Ben as ''Baosheng Dadi'' upon His Death. As a ''God of Medicine'', He was venerated for many hundreds of years, with His ''Divine Patronage'' sought out for most illnesses.
