Atahsaia

The Native American Zuni Tribe, have a rather frightful Mythos, regarding an Entity they called ''Atahsaia'' This Being was seen as a ''Demon Giant'' who regularly hunted and ''ate'' The Zuni. Atahsaia was said to have the hair of a Bison. His body hair was made of sharp spikes and His arms were covered in Black and White colored scales. He also used giant sized weapons like axe and spear to hunt with. A scourge to The Zuni, finally a Shaman was able to cast a spell which caused Atahsaia to slowly decompose until nothing was left. The decomposition ideology is still seek by Zuni Traditionalists as a form of ''renewal'' by which all organic Life must achieve to ''give back to The Earth''. A Ritualistic Dance is performed in Spring, by which Male Dancers ''dress'' and wear make-up to imitate Atahsaia. They dance for hours, until each slowly leave The Ceremony, representing Atahsaia ''rotting away''.
