From the ancient Iberian Peninsula and surrounding Regions (Spain), comes the belief in The Goddess ''Ataegina''. Her Cult pre-dates even it's Roman Occupation, to around 500 BC. Of the little known, Ataegina was ''Goddess of The Underworld'' and occupied a Feminine role akin to ''Hades''. Her name was also associated with ''Night''. Perhaps not as malevolent as Her Greek counterpart, Ataegina would be adopted into Roman Religion as ''Mythra'' and later ''Elvas''. She was commonly personified as a Goat and later (again with Rome) – as a ''Winged Female'' seated upon a Throne.
