Astomi

Found in Ancient Greek and Roman Myth, The Astomi were said to be a humanoid Race who evolved from Man's first emergence on Earth. Unlike Humans however, The Astomi had MUCH different ''dietary needs''. You see, The Astomi evolved without a Mouth, Teeth or even digestive system! The Astomi survived on ''smell''. The strange Race gathered their nutrition by the smelling of flowers and other plants. However, The Astomi had to avoid foul smelling things as this could kill them. Living in Mountains and generally shunning Humankind, their few encounters with Man did not end with violence or War. The Astomi preferred to simply remain hidden.
