The Pagan Welsh believed in The Underworld, which was populated with many Demon Deities. ‘’Arwan’’ was one such. He was said to be a ‘’Lord or King’’, who brought extreme Cold and Winter to various realms of The Underworld. When a Person died, Their body would gradually grow cold. This was Seen as Arawn, ‘’taking the Soul’’ of The Deceased. He was seen as malevolent (neither Good nor Evil).
