An ancient and obscure Deity, ‘’Arimanius’’ was adopted by Greek and Roman Culture (early). Some Scholars assign The Deity as being more akin to Ancient Persian Culture, and may have been transplanted (brought to) Greek in the 2nd Century BC. Very few icons (statues) still exist (complete and mostly partial). Arimanius was seen as both a ‘’Life and Death’’ God, who took the form of a Human-Lion Hybrid. Reptiles (snakes), also form His Mythos. Thought (later) to be a Daemon (Demon), He was invoked for the protection against Evil, and was seen as the ideology of using ‘’Evil to Fight Evil’’.
