Anthropomancy

The somewhat grisly and quite Ancient ''Anthropomancy'', was a form of 1st BC Divination which involved Human Sacrifice. Women, men and especially small Children who were so ''offered to The Gods'', would, just prior to death – would have their entrails ''laid open'' A Priest or Shaman would then interpret the Future or some impending Event, by ''reading'' how the blood drained or congealed on the exposed organs. Anthropomancy would actually last into early Ancient Greece. However, by Ancient Roman religious Cult standards – Human Sacrifices were not used, but animals – as we have ween in the previously discussed ''Haruspex'' Rituals.
