From Ghana, Africa The ''Anansi'' was a God used to export knowledge to Humans who read certain ''Lore Tales'' if The Akan Peoples, These mostly oral tales (passed down from generation to generation), required an ''open mind'' with regards to interpretation and understanding. ''Anansi'' was The God who allowed for such knowledge to become memory. He was personified as a Large Spider. Although in many African Folktales The Spider was seen as a ''Trickster'' (in both good and bad veins), ''Anansi'' was seen as ''Wise''.
