A Deity of Ancient Yemen, ''Amm'' was The ''God of The Moon''. He was also invoked to control Thunder and Lighting and later as a God of Weather (also seen as a link to The Moon). His very name is the Arabic word for ''Uncle''. Little information has survived of His Cult. Those remaining Stone carvings of Amm show Him Human in portrayal and seated on a Royal Throne. The Moon is always shown with Him.
