Alp Luachra

 From Ireland, come The Alp Luachra. Small and evil, they are parasitic demons in the Fairy Family. If a person falls asleep near a stream or river (in Ireland), The Alp Luachra turns itself into a small Newt and crawls into the mouth of the sleeper. The crawl into the stomach and eat all the food that the sleeper had eaten prior. The poor victim starves to death (as he can never eat enough to survive with The Alp Luachra consuming it all). A cure for this beastie was to consume salty food and to lay back down near a stream. Alp Luachra (not liking this new meal)  will crawl out of the body and back into the water (to assume his previously evil shape of a spiky little demon).
