Shtriga

 From Albanian Legend, The Shtriga were Witch creatures which were akin to The Vampire. They were ugly and often described as corpse-like . They roamed the Countryside finding victims to drink their blood. Some variations give The Shtriga the ability to suck out one's lifeforce instead. During The day, they take the form of insects (and are thus hard to kill). It was said to capture a Shtriga, meant that she had to cure her capture (or relations) of any disease (to earn her freedom). This was accomplished by her spitting into the mouth of the afflicted person. This victim would be cured instantly of ANY health issue immediately.
