Agares

Agares is a  Shapeshifting Demon from early Christian Mythology. Actually, more of a ''Class'' of Demon - they take 2 distinct forms when they appear. Said to become an Old Man riding a Crocodile (when taking a masculine form or a Beautiful Young Girl (in the feminine). Agare's are also considered Teaching Demons - responsible for instructing new Demons in the ways of Evil. They were of particular use to Witches and Warlocks. The Agares featured prominently in Medieval writings on The Arcane.
