The Dinka Tribe of The South Sudan (Africa), have very ‘’Female’’ Goddesses in their Mythos. One of the most well regarded is ‘’Abuk’’. She is related to Fertility and Rain. Coming from a bean, She was placed into water (pot) and grew to ‘’adult’’ size. She makes rain for plants to grow and feed people – as well as allows for successful procreation. Her symbolism is a snake, Moon and a Sheep – all important facets to Dinka Mythology.
