putting sounds into the map

I tried inserting some sounds into my map, but by now I haven't heard anything, I only hear the game music. Is there something wrong? I clicked that sound icon in the left part of the screen near the minimap in the editor, and I was inserting different sounds into the map.

 

Maybe it will work, it's pretty late by now, but I just meant to ask because I am going to be busy tomorrow, and it may be too late to ask tomorrow evening about this, as we need to do this until Sunday. :)

Did the you see sound icon present on the map where you clicked?

If the sound icon is placed, I'd check what volume level you have sound effects on.
