unable to update my heading post and to post link

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have tried to update the heading post of my Stronghold Crusader faces and crests tread, but I failed. I also tried to add the new face in a new post, but I was unable to post links as well... (the image file was linked to bmp which is located at Slavic Warlords website)

Is this something new, or there is just some maintenance going on?

Please provide a link to the post you are attempting to edit, the exact link you were attempting to post as well as any errors/messages you are receiving.

EDIT: The posting of links was a permissions issue, your user group had been denied it after the change. That should be fixed now.

Thanks. :)

I tried it again now, and now I get this error:

[url] was opened within [img], this is not allowed

and this is message I was trying to post.

Long time since I posted my latest face. Now I come with a new one. Here comes Teutonic knight - I hope you'll like it. :)

I am planning to create more similar ones in future days, and I've god some more faces created after Lord of the Ring characters (movie and animated movie as well).

You mean the edit link isn't there or you just get that error?

EDIT: Please try now.

Edit link is there whole time, but when I clicked it, I was given this message that I am not allowed to edit the message. Now it's working!

Only I am still getting this error message for inserting code:

[url= (my url) ][img= (image url) ][/url]

Don't add any spaces to your URL, make them %20 instead.

I don't add spaces, I only tried to tell what code I am using, and it's not letting me.

This is what I tried to post:

There are spaces, in your image URL.

When you add %20 instead of the spaces, this is the result:

    • Problem When Posting Youtube Link

Hi, I just wanted to point that, when I try to post a message with a YouTube link, I get the following message. Now, this message does not appear when I put the youtube link in the URL BB tag, it appears only when I just copy/paste the link. That's when the forum tries to embed the video into the post. I try posting the link in this topic. Not much of a problem, it's not important for me to embed the video into a post, I don't care about that at all. But still, I think it's important

    • Status Update (Saving Private Charles)

Hi folks! I thought I'd let you know that I'm still alive and well. Unfortunately I haven't been able to visit the site as much as I'd like, since I've been very busy.   If you're wandering what I've been up to, I am now in my second year of university. I am majoring in both computer science and mathematics, so I have 5 hours of (nearly) back to back classes during the week. On weekends I do homework and keep up with errands.   Still, I am going to try to make a conscientious effort to visit Str

    • A small update to articles

Hi everyone,   I thought I'd share a quick update with you all that I've just performed to our article system. Before you had to scroll all the way to the end of an article in order to rate it. I've changed this now so that it's the same as the system for rating downloads. Simply hover over the existing stars at the top of the article, and select which rating you would like to give the article.   I'd also like to share several new files with you all that have been uploaded by @jmatthes- they are

    • Unable to reply in a tread

Hi! Whenever I try to post a message at Stronghold Nation forum I get a server error. This is the exact message I get:         In addition to that, i was able to create a new tread, and to reply to that same tread, if whenever I tried to reply to any other tread, I got the error message. For example, I should be able to reply in this tread, but I've been unable to post a reply in history tread since yesterday.
