New Group Colours

Recommended Posts

To save any confusion of user group colours, we are slightly changing the group colours. The staff colours are still the same - Administrators are red, global moderators are dark blue, moderators are green with supporters as pink and former staff as cyan.

The same goes for new members, they will remain dark green when registering. But for users who are above the rank of a Peasant (new member) they will remain a standard colour which will stop any confusion. To this rule, there are two exceptions: The "Dukes" user group will remain gold, and the "Royal Guard" (contributors) will remain purple.

I like the idea of having less colors. :) I have only one suggestion though... I believe it would sound better if "peasants" would be renamed to "free men"? This way we would have all the same, or almost the same, as in Stronghold 2, which would be nice, but it would also fit its need better - peasant and free man were not the same in middle ages, as far as I know, and free man was the one who could be promoted. Hehe, or maybe I'm missing the idea - maybe the point is to motivate someone to become something else other than peasant. :D

As about the colors themselves - I like the choices of colors for each rank, it's just fitting right. :)

That is one thing I debated about, and many of the ranks are taken from Stronghold 2. Some others were also taken from these pages (initially where the peasant came from) :

I tell you what, time for a contest: http://forums.stronghold-nation.com/topic/183-help-choose-new-user-group-ranks/ :)

    • Hi, I'm New, I Need Some Help With What to do Next

Hey, so my boyfriend got me into playing Stronghold Crusader and I loved it.  Then he showed me SCE HD, and I bought the games on steam.  After playing through all the single player maps like 20 times, I'm bored and went looking for some more maps to download.  First off, Im a win 7 geek, and have Win10.  I have NO idea where maps go, how to differentiate between all this lingo I'm seeing, (apparently there are a bunch of games I just became aware of?)  Anyways, so can anyone please tell me what
