Hello LordOh, and Welcome to The Nation!

Quite the contrary, Our Forums and Board (Threads, etc) are read and answered often. It is just with ''Real Life'' sometimes it takes a ''minute or two'' - as it were. Be patient, I am sure that many Members of The Community would like to play a Game or two with you.

Again, Welcome!

Hi, LordOh!

What game speed do you play with? Go into options, and make sure it's 40.

And try playing against weaker opponents first, like The Rat. When playing against him, you can train some archers early in the game, and put them on you walls. That should keep you safe for a while, they would repel Rat's attacks pretty easily.

Hey there eagle prince! , I play at 50-60 to save some time, and it’s fun to watch all the arrows fly! 😂🙏🏻

righjt now I use a money cheat to play, because I don’t know e beginnings of castle building, like I see these computers already have castles and it’s only 2 mins in. It’s a really difficult learning curve for me, but I am slowly starting to understand it. I guess, that I don’t know what to build first? Granary and food?

Welcome @LordOh!

You know, me and @EaglePrince were actually talking about playing a Crusader game online ourselves soon. Perhaps I could add you to a three-way PM so we can talk about setting up a game?

By the way, I edited your first post and masked your email address a bit so it won't be scraped by bots and spammed.

Yes, playing together with us could be nice. :)

And before that, few pieces of advice.
- Play in speed 40, because I'm high speed the computer has the advantage.
- Yup, granary, armory, expand stockpile by few tiles, and build the market place. Never forget those in the beginning.
- Them place woodcutters, to have some wood soon enough, and build several hovels.
- Place someapple orchards, apples are good and cheap way to feed people.
- Seling stone and iron is a good way to earn money. With that gold you can hire Arabian troops from the mercenary post.

I think this is the easiest way to play this game.

If you are new to the series in general, it might be helpful to play through the tutorial and some of the historical campaigns if you haven't already. The first one "The Call to Arms" will teach you the basics of moving troops and building your castle. "Saladin's Conquest" focuses more on offensive gameplay, and the "Crusader States" one will help you learn how to play skirmish mode.

Also, when I play, it generally takes me some time to get castle walls up. The computer especially has an advantage early on with building because it doesn't have to move a mouse or anything to build. Instead, it can build a lot at once. I wouldn't feel discouraged if it looks like the computer has an early lead.

Interesting observation about campaigns, @Isiah. When I was a kid, I was learning it the hard way - straight to skirmish. Boy, even Snake way hard back then. A lot of stuff I didn't know how to do - how to trade, how to train Crusader troops, nor how to build siege equipment. So, that is why, when I played a mission in Crusader states if in not mistaken against Sultan Abdul and Pig, I saw Pig impossible to kill. He was so effective I'm killing my assassins and Arabian swordsmen.

So after having many crashing issues with version 1.2 of Stronghold Legends and shortly after realizing I lost the Stronghold Collection disk sometime after Christmas (if you don't know you can still play the Stronghold Collection games even if you lose the disk if the game is already downloaded to your computer) I uninstalled Stronghold Legends v 1.2 from my laptop a day or two ago. The invasions show up but unfortunately they don't attack no matter what. They are just standing where I set them but they don't start their siege. Hi everyone! I'm working on a project where I want to modify the graphics of Stronghold Crusader. My goal is to create an entirely new themed game using the existing game's framework, where I’ll redesign everything from buildings and units to the main menu and in-game text. However, I’ve run into some issues with the tools I've tried, and I’m looking for suggestions on what programs I could use and if there are any specialized tools for this. Programs I’ve tried: Drago
