Scheduled Maintenance - 2/6/2020 to 3/6/2020

On Thursday (2/6/2020) the site will be down for a scheduled upgrade to the forum. Since this upgrade is large and affects the functioning of the entire website, the main site will also be unavailable for the duration of this upgrade. I apologise for any inconvenience this might cause.

 

From around 11 AM BST the site will be taken offline, which I expect will take most of Thursday and possibly into Friday as well, depending on how long things take to upgrade.

 

Once the upgrade is completed we will have a newer, fresher forum interface with much improved functionality. Looking forward to seeing you all again on the other side- thanks everyone!

    • Scheduled downtime - 11/2/2017 to 12/2/2017

      Hi everyone,   There will be some scheduled downtime next Saturday and Sunday (11th and 12th February) to move the website to another server, I'll be putting the site in maintenance mode around 9 AM UK time. I've already started some of the transfer, so it should simply be a case of updating the name servers, which can take up to the full 48 hours specified above. The most likely outcome is that it will be substantially shorter than this time (usually it's around 4 hours for me), and you can man

      We are currently moving servers, and our name servers need updating. For that reason, this afternoon I will be placing the site in maintenance mode to make sure that the transition happens correctly and without any chaos or loss of data.
