Where can I find this? :)?The link on the homepage just brings me back to the Index.

I was thinking I could re-texture the square one, but also create another save where I unsquare (yes, I just invented a word) it. Either way, I'll send you both, and both maps can be under your name :)

In regards to your question, Nigel, it depends. Some game engines require you to purchase them, however, Unreal Engine, has in the last few years allowed developers to use the engine for free. I don't believe there is a limited time. What usually happens is that developers will upgrade or change engines depending on what they want. Of course, each engine requires the user to learn it, and hence, this can be a setback when it comes to availability!?

I'm the same! Never used to really care, but since the first proper map I made, where I tried to make the textures look nice and natural, I've kept away from making balanced/identical territory maps. Although, I'm happy to play them :)

Then perhaps it's down to a bug with the most recent patch as the others suggested! I've not played it in a while, but if I get time, and the issue still isn't resolved, I'll look into it for you. However, the 1000 unit cap will always remain until they update the game to increase it or remove it.

Not sure I'd agree with that today. It really doesn't take that much power to run these games, but it takes take modern components. These components have come down so much in price the last couple of years, and the bigger market for PCs is actually high-end believe it or not. Less and less people are buying from pre-made PC companies such as Dell, HP, etc, and instead are buying their own parts and buildings them. I do understand though, that in some countries, PC parts are ridiculously overpriced. Whilst I still enjoy the 2D games, they simply aren't as easy on the eyes, and don't look as good. What they needed to do with SH3 was keep everything we love, but make it 3D. Instead, they decided to make a terrible sequel to SH1's story, and removed the greatest parts of the game, such as Kingmaker. Map editing was actually really great with SH3, but the game wasn't fun enough for me to bother making a map for it. Crusader 2 on the other hand, is a lot of fun, and whilst it doesn't stack up to the older one, I love playing it.

By custom invasion, did you create this gamemode in-game? Or did it involve editing files etc? If it's the latter, then it's most likely that the game sees all the units as belonging to the player (you) and is therefore only allowing the 1000 player limit. I haven't played much of SH1, but I've never noticed a max of 1000 units between all players in-game.

Adventure #02 - Foreign Fancies
Mathew Steel replied to Charles of Tours's topic in Adventures in the Duchy of Riverbourne
Rather impatient, Geralt stood up, and in a quiet but stern tone, spoke to Goodman, "I believe it is of great importance!" He paused, as two soldiers walked past, when they were out of audible range, he continued. "You wandered off alone with the understanding that nobody would know. What were you up to? What are you hiding?"? Geralt took a breath, then sat back down. "I am sorry," he began. "I shocked myself with that outburst..." Geralt placed a hand lightly on his covered wound, wincing at the pain. He moved his hands together between his knees, then leaned forward slightly. "Please, Goodman, I wish to know what this is all about. You know my reason, and albeit petty, it was still revealed." Geralt sat up straight, watched as Goodman sat back down, then awaited a response. Goodman began to speak, however, this was swiftly interrupted as a scout came shouting Goodman's name, "Goodman!" He called, clearly the scout was well-acquainted with Goodman, as he chose to ignore his title. "I have urgent news!" The scout was breathless, it was apparent that he had ran far, and in a hurry. "A group of merchants were seen riding past Renault's fortress." "At this hour?" Geralt questioned. "That's exactly my point, Sir!" Geralt felt strange being referred to as a sir. It was uncommon to him. "I should add that two of the merchants seemed to be holding something...at least it seemed that way, the moonlight did very little in terms of visibility!" Goodman stood up. "They weren't carrying anything. A group of merchants would have had a horse and cart to carry their items. Those two merchants were detained. Did you see a cart?" The scout nodded. "Then my suspicions grow deeper." Goodman turned to Geralt. "Do you think you can stay awake long enough to join me?" He smirked. Geralt let out a slight laugh, and with a grin on his face, he replied, "Let's go find out where these so-called merchants are heading!" -
I hope it's not another Crusader :P don't get me wrong, I love the crusader games, but I've always preferred the non-desert games, such as SH2 and SH3. Even if SH3 wasn't the game we all wanted...

Been a while since I've played balanced maps! Should be fun. If you'd like, I'd happily re-texture it :)

I wouldn't mind joining in at somepoint! Although, school work is currently picking up again as I near the end of the year. I'll be finished with by the end of next week! :)?

As far as I know, this is hard coded into the game's executable, meaning without the proper understanding, software, and permission, there's no way of doing it. I did however do a quick Google search for you, however, nobody else seems to have changed the unit cap!? Also, if you could refrain from using "text talk" such as "thx". It's not a huge deal, but not everybody here can fluently speak English, and that type of text can be confusing. It's also listed in the rules here: ?-?https://forums.stronghold-nation.com/rules/ ? You can find it under the "Abbreviations" section! Again, not a huge problem, but just so you know in future! :)

Eagle described the similar system that is in place in Stronghold 2. If the game speed is increased, the FPS cap is also increased. Have you tried playing at the highest speed to see if the FPS reaches 60? Try this in both the highest and lowest resolution, let me know the results!

This is exactly what I mean. I watched a video earlier today, about a Syrian refugee who was now living in Germany. He looked about 12 at most, but he said how he was learning the language, and even spoke German to the other children. He explained how he told his friends that if they speak German amongst themselves, they would learn it quicker. When a refugee moves to a country, and put in effort to learn the language, it really does mean a lot. Not for the reasons of, "Our language is better," but instead it shows that they want to live in that country happily, and with the natives. Language is important, despite what people may think, if people can communicate, they can learn. If they can learn, they can work. If they can work, they can make money. If they can make money, they can provide for themselves in the country. My argument here isn't that "immigrants should work or leave", because it aggravates me when people living in my own country won't work. Fair enough if they are physically or mentally unable to, but otherwise - work. Being able to earn money makes it so much easier to settle into a country. To conclude, there will always be work available, it may not pay well, and it may be draining, but it's out there. I don't know how many times I've been past the shops in the small village near me that have "HIRING" signs on the windows, then continue to walk and see adults walking around during working hours with a can of lager in their hands. The moment I turned 17, I looked for work, and have now been working for about 10 months. This is far from the original topic, but it's nice to develop conversation into relevant topics, just to get different opinions and views! :)

[OoC] I believe we're all on the same page now! :) Whilst the group sat idle at the camp, cooking, talking, and eating, Geralt took the chance to ask further about what was happening. He noticed Goodman sitting down on a thick log, placed conveniently in front of the campfire. He sat beside him. Staring at the flames of the blaze, he spoke, "Friend, perhaps now is a good time for you to explain what on earth I am getting involved in. Do not mistake me, I wish to help, but I wish to know what side I'm fighting in this war." He awaited Goodman's response, but quickly interrupted once more, "Also, your name, I still haven't learnt it!" -

Thank you, Charles! :)? -
I couldn't tell you too far back, but yes her parents and grandparents are also Welsh by origin. It really does baffle me why so many people think we should allow our culture to include many others for the sake of diversity? Umm no, if they want to live by their own culture, they are more than welcome to, in their own country where their own culture exists. Not to say I don't acknowledge people have different values and beliefs, that's fine, but when it starts to intrude on my own, then I have an issue. It would seem that this specific teacher is quite happy to welcome this so-called peaceful religion with its peaceful teachings! I really am fine with people believing different to me, but it's the fact that she resorted to name-calling, instead of having a civil debate. That's what I miss. I want to talk, not argue with people.

Perhaps that is the case! Come to think of it, if it was as I described, then the popularity would go back up to 100.? -

[OoC] I seem to be slightly lost. My bad. Crusader, was your most recent entry a continuation of Chris' last? Or does that take place elsewhere? :P? -

Thank you, both! I really appreciate it. Hopefully I can continue to impress :D? ? -
Also agree with Chris! Only reason I haven't reported her is because nothing would be done about it. Plus, despite me saying all that, the course for RE has nothing to do with Islam, and only involves Christianity and Judaism. Even then, it only teaches about the creation of the world, views on marriage, views on death and the afterlife, euthanasia, IVF, etc etc. Very basic beliefs. It was a mandatory lesson at GCSE, which somehow I achieved an A in :P? It's strange. The chemistry teacher was a leave voter, and almost all the teachers mocked him for it. My sociology teacher is probably the only sane one left. He isn't right or left winged, but he himself won't say anything as fact. When he gives an opinion, he emphasises it's an opinion. He'll never say someone is wrong, but will give an alternative viewpoint to encourage said person to reconsider. Likewise, he's also one of the teachers the other teachers see as "a grumpy old man".? Thank you! Won't be joining until some point in late 2018/early 2019, though! ?
